Parole Board denies Carlton Gary's request for DNA test

On Tuesday, Dec. 15, the State Board of Pardons and Paroles denied Carlton Gary's request for a stay of execution and a DNA test of physical evidence after a 7-hour hearing on Monday and deliberations on Tuesday.  "We have testable DNA," said Jack Martin, Mr. Gary's lead attorney.  "There's DNA that could exonerate someone who is about to be executed.  What are they scared of if they are so cetain?"
