Two Global Solidarity Events for Troy Davis in Georgia: Savannah and Atlanta.

On June 22, 2010 people from around the globe and here in Georgia, will mobilize to stand vigil and in solidarity with Troy Davis as the Georgia Federal District Court reviews new evidence regarding his case in an evidentiary hearing on June 23, 2010.  We hope that everyone can make one of these events!

Atlanta:

Vigil for Troy Davis – Tuesday, June 22 at 6:00pm

Georgia State Capitol, 100 Washington Street SW, Atlanta, GA 30334

 

Savannah:

Community Mass Meeting - Tuesday, June 22 at 6:30pm

New Life Apostolic Temple, 2120 West Bay Street, Savannah, GA  31415

 

Evidentiary Hearing  - Wednesday, June 23 at 10am

Tomochichi Federal Courthouse (125 Bull St. in Savannah)

Open to the public on a first come-first served basis.  Please follow the courthouse rules and dress formally. 

Note: the hearing could last one or more days.
